Lauren Jassny has been in banking in the Seattle area for 29 years, and has held senior positions at several banks. Prior to joining Commerce Bank, she was Senior VP and Regional Banking Manager for Private Financial Services at U.S. Bank. Previously she was Senior VP and Credit Approval Manager for U.S. Bank, overseeing credit approval for Commercial Real Estate, Business Banking and Private Banking. She received her M.A. from Indiana University and B.A. with Distinction from The University of Washington. Lauren currently serves on the Washington State Board of Accountancy, appointed by Governor Gregoire in 2006. She also serves on the boards of The Kline Galland Center/Foundation and Pioneer Human Services, where she was Board Chair 2002-2004. She previously served on the boards of United Way, King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, and Jewish Family Services.
